AIA SCSC Triathlon
“Follow the Rules, Be a Champion!”
Rules & Regulations:
Swimming
- For the Olympic Pool (50m x 25m), you will need to swim 750m, which is 15 laps.
- For the Aqua Pool (20m x 10m), you will need to swim 38 laps, equivalent to 760m.
- For swimming, for example, Lane 1 is designated as 2 lanes combined (one lane for going, another for returning). When you reach 50 meters on the outbound lane, you should switch to the return lane by swimming under the lane rope.
- If you haven’t finished the swim after 45 minutes, you must exit the pool immediately when the referee blows the whistle and continue with the next part of the race.
- Will not consider in the ranking to the participant who swim at the Aqua Pool
Bike
- No aero bars allowed.
- Bikes tires must be at least 1.95in.
- Must have front suspension fork.
- You are only allowed to start riding your bike at the designated area. Before reaching that area, you must push your bike.
- At the end of each lap, you will be given a wristband to indicate lap completion (4 laps are required to complete 20km, and you should receive 4 wristbands).
- If you do not have the correct number of wristbands when crossing the finish line, you will not be considered as having completed the race.
- When you reach the finish line, you must proceed to the designated bike stopping area and push your bike from the marked area as instructed
- Bib numbers will be provided for cycling, and they must be attached to your bike.
You are required to place your bike at the designated spots according to your number. It’s recommended to familiarize yourself with your bike location before the event.
Run
The running segment will start after the cycling, with a total distance of 5km.
- Relay participants must wait for their teammate at the designated relay tent before starting their leg of the race. (For example, the swimmer must reach the cycling area before the cyclist can begin.)

There are specific waiting areas for relay participants, and they must stay within these areas while waiting for their teammate.

Participants are not allowed to wear earphones during the competition.

Visitor must stay at specific visitor area.

Personal items such as backpacks and etc must be stored at the designated participant area.

Every participant must attend the orientation day (2nd Nov)
